Your First Look at Allison Williams as Peter Pan!

Your wait to see Allison Williams' Peter Pan ensemble is finally over—and the look is definitely different from the costume she wore when she was just a little kid. The Girls star posted a picture of her amazing fairy tale get-up to Instagram, along with a caption that revealed a fun fact about the character's hair.

"The transformation begins! My first shoot as Pan. Fun fact: I was all ready to cut my hair, then was told by the folks who actually know what they're doing that a wig works better for everybody. So, December 4th, here we come. #wiglife #peterpanlive #nbc," she wrote on Instagram.

It's impressive that Allison was ready to chop off her long brunette locks for her role as Peter! The star's costume features festive netted sleeves and rugged green and brown textured fabrics.

Allison will star in the NBC remake of the classic with Christopher Walken as Peter's nemesis, Hook.

This is the best news we've received about Peter Pan since Allison's dad Brian Williams sweetly announced her casting on NBC's Nightly News.
