Happy World Pasta Day! Today, many will celebrate by chowing down on spaghetti, (topped with Alfredo sauce, no less) noodles, and pretty much any other pasta-based dish that has ever existed on planet earth. Sounds glorious, huh?
But if you’re trying to cut down on your carb count and already OKed that banana nut muffin with extra glaze for breakfast, a late night dinner of linguini might be your world nightmare.
Try not to cry over spilled milk though (or maybe uncooked carbs in this case?) and indulge in a yummy staple that won’t leave you in so much mealtime guilt. There are tons of “fake” pasta recipes out there that are actually made from zucchini, squash, and other fruits and veggies!
