Celebs shouldn't be the only people having fun on Oscar night this Sunday. If you're planning your own shindig, we have ideas for the perfect bites to add to your own award-winning menu. From a yummy kale salad (you know Hollywood types like to eat light) to a Mediterranean spin on nachos to a scrumptious hoisin chicken pizza, there's a little something for everyone right here.

Lexington Brass’ Kale Salad

Serves 4

Ingredients

2 bunches of Black Tuscan Kale, stems removed and sliced thinly

½ cup of grated Pecorino Romano cheese

Zest from 2 preserved Lemons, diced

¼ cup of Pine Nuts

Toast the pine nuts in the oven at 350 degrees for about 10 minutes on a sheet tray until golden brown.

Dressing

½ cup Roasted Bell Pepper oil

1 cup of extra virgin olive oil

5 cloves of roasted garlic

½ cup of good aged white balsamic vinegar

2T of granulated sugar

2 teaspoon of cumin seed

Pinch Salt

Fresh Ground Black Pepper

Preparation

In a small pot heat up the olive oil with the garlic cloves and cook until the garlic browns and then remove from the heat. In a blender combine the bell pepper oil, roasted garlic cloves, the oil the garlic was cooked in, aged white balsamic vinegar, sugar and cumin seed and puree until smooth. Adjust seasoning with salt and freshly ground black pepper.

To Assemble

In a large bowl combine the chopped kale, grated pecorino romano cheese, diced preserved lemon and pine nuts. Toss the salad together with a ¼ of the dressing. You may add or subtract the dressing to your desired taste.

Hummus Nachos

Mediterranean Nachos Recipe

Ingredients

4 cups Stacey's Pita Chips®

2 tablespoons Sabra Roasted Garlic Hummus

2 tablespoons Sabra Roasted Red Pepper Hummus

8-10 grape tomatoes, cut in half lengthwise

1/4 cup chopped zucchini (about 1/4 inch chunks)

2 tablespoons chopped Greek olives

2 tablespoons chopped pepperoncinis

1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella

Preparation

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.

Place pita chips in a 9-10 inch skillet or other oven proof pan or baking dish of a similar size. Top with small spoonfuls of Sabra Hummus .

Sprinkle tomatoes, zucchini, olives and pepperoncinis over the chips. Top with shredded mozzarella.

Bake 15-20 minutes or until cheese has melted and edges are beginning to brown.

Serve warm.

Hoisin Chicken Pizza

Ingredients

1 package store-bought pizza dough

1/4 cup Lee Kum Kee Hoisin Sauce

1/2 medium red onion, halved and sliced paper thin

1 chicken breast (or try smoked duck breast), thinly sliced

1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese or Mozzarella cheese

Optional Toppings: crushed peanuts, sesame seeds, cilantro, scallions, red bell pepper

Preparation

Roll out pizza dough.

Top with hoisin sauce, red onion, cheese and toppings of your choosing.

Bake according to pizza dough package instructions.
