In the midst of Beyonce Knowles return to the spotlight, actress Paula Patton says she shouldn't rush to get back into pre-baby shape.

Paula told OK! last night at Brad Pitt's Make It Right eBay Celebrity Auction Preview in NYC, that Beyonce doesn't even need her advice. "I would give no advice to Beyonce," Paula said. "Beyonce’s gorgeous and she probably knows a heck of a lot more than me about any of that. I would just tell her to enjoy being a mother and not worry about any of that. She’ll be back in no time. She’s gorgeous, no stress about how do you get it back. It’s so sad for women. We make it so hard on each other."

How did Paula drop her own baby weight after having a child with husband Robin Thicke? "I was lucky and honestly, I had an opportunity with a movie called Jumping the Broom and it was my first lead in a romantic comedy. I jumped at the chance to do it and it didn’t require me to be a certain weight or not and then I did Mission Impossible; I’m thankful they hired me even though I wasn’t in super spy shape."

She did reveal to OK! how she got in MI-3 shape. "They believed in me enough to say we’ll get you there, so that was a blessing for me. Honestly, I wouldn’t have worked that hard but 2 ½ hours of physical training and it was very different, physical events, all based on your own body weight, no weights or anything like that. It was an amazing experience I wouldn’t have had had I not had the movie so I got very lucky in that way, I gotta be honest."

"It was really just me being able to do all my own stunts. I was always athletic before I had my son but not to the length you needed to be to be in Mission Impossible and they trained me really hard and the first month was grueling but I felt really lucky I was able to do this because God only thought I wouldn’t be able to do it without them."
