George Clooney was married to actress Talia Balsam for four years, from 1989 to 1993. Not familiar with her name? Here are some things you might be surprised to learn about her:

1. Clooney was 28 when he and Balsam, whom he'd only been dating for a few months, jumped in a Winnebago and drove to Vegas to get married. Ah, to be young. He later told Vanity Fair, "I probably–definitely –wasn't someone who should have been married at that point. I just don't feel like I gave Talia a fair shot."

2. Don't feel too bad for her, though. After divorcing Clooney, she got hitched to another sexy gentleman: Mad Men's John Slattery. They're still happily married and have a son, Harry.

3. Balsam played her husband's on-screen ex-wife on Mad Men. She's appeared in eleven episodes as Mona Sterling, the woman he cheated on with Joan Holloway.

6. She doesn't mind being constantly associated with George Clooney (who would?!). "I’m totally used to it now. And he does talk about it more than I do!" she has said. "It’s funny because it’s still in the present somehow, even though it was a long time ago. Now it’s just a fact. It doesn’t even enter my head any more."
