Known for her big wigs and even bigger personality, Kim Zolciak sounds off about motherhood, married life and what viewers can expect on season 3 of Don’t Be Tardy….
OK! Magazine: It’s been eight months since the twins were born. How are Kane and Kaia?
Kim Zolciak: They’re awesome! I was very nervous when I found out I was having twins, but it’s actually been incredibly easy. Kane seems to have gotten the memo that he’s a twin, but his sister hasn’t put it together quite yet. Kane is the easiest baby I’ve had!
OK! Magazine: What was it like filming this season with six kids?
KZ: It was difficult, with me being pregnant and my husband [Kroy Biermann] recovering from his injury; but overall, this was my favorite year of filming.
OK! Magazine: Was it tough for you with Kroy getting injured so late in your pregnancy?
KZ: Yeah. I had the twins eight weeks after he tore his Achilles tendon. The day I gave birth to the twins was the frst day he was able to walk with shoes on!
OK! Magazine: In the premiere, you ask Kroy to get a vasectomy. Did he?
KZ: I can tell you we definitely did something! After [sons] KJ and Kash, we were trying for a girl—and once we had the twins, we agreed we were done but that we’d better do something because it doesn’t take very much for us to get pregnant. So we fixed that situation permanently.
OK! Magazine: In the trailer, you mention getting plastic surgery. Will we see that on the show?
KZ: I’m awful at maintaining myself, and I thought my boobs were saggy. I also had a hernia that needed to be repaired, which will play out on the show. Afer six kids, it was time for a mommy makeover to keep me feeling good about myself.
