Welcome to New Tunes Tues, where we tell you what newly released songs/albums etc require your attention immediately. This week is mostly hot guy themed (unintentionally, promise), so take a listen to their new music and then take a gander at their hotness if you’re so inclined because why not…
Emblem3, “Chloe.” The X-Factor alums’ first album, Nothing to Lose, is officially out now, and we officially can’t stop listening to the lead single, “Chloe.” So take a listen to their anthem which is basically about how the weird, loner girl is the hot one, and then stare into their six-pack abs for hours straight. Pics are HERE.
Backstreet Boys, “In a World Like This.” Oh my god, they’re back agaaaaain! BSB is back with another album, which is notable because this is the first one Kevin Richardson is on since he left the group temporarily in 2006. The lead single of the same name is our favorite, but feel free to check out the album on iTunes and choose your own…
Robin Thicke. “Blurred Lines.” This song has been our summer fave for what, like, three months now? But now we can own the entire collection of awesome summer pop songs on the album of the same name since it just got released today. If you still are on the hunt for a summer playlist, we think every dancey, poppy track on this album will do the trick:
Avicii, “Wake Me Up.” This hot guy who’s newish to the music biz (who we like to think of as Mumford & Sons meets Skrillex) has a hit on his hands with this song, which he just released the music video for yesterday. The album doesn’t hit until the fall but EVERYONE is talking about it already, so keep your ears peeled and enjoy this single in the meantime:
Katy Perry, “Prism.” JK, Katy Perry doesn’t have a new single yet. YET. But she did announce that her new album, called Prism, will hit October 22, and she did so by sending gold banner trucks around LA to announce the news. Excited for October yet?
