When I was in middle school and high school, I had a really impressive CD collection. Like, not to brag  or anything, but in addition to all the classic albums like *NSYNC's No Strings Attached and Britney Spears's Oops I Did It Again, I even owned CDs of some of the era's not-quite-as-famous artists like, say, Sisqo, B*Witched and yes, Mya. Fear of Falling was my jam in 2000, and so for today for Mya's 34th birthday, we're going back in time to commemorate some of her greatest musical moments...plus figure out where she's at today. Cool?

OK! Old School: Why No Doubt's "Tragic Kingdom" Is The Greatest

First was the Pras song that she was featured on, "Ghetto Supasta," where the world got introduced to Mya when she was like, not even 20. I didn't even like rap in 1998, but this song was so catchy.

That same year was "Take Me There" with Blackstreet, featured on The Rugrats Movie soundtrack. Immediately when I told the other OKMagazine.com editors that I was writing a post about Mya today, they're like, "Don't forget the Rugrats song!" Don't worry guys. I would never forget the Rugrats song.

OK! Old School: Christina Milian's Best Musical Moments

Mya's first solo song that was legit amazing though was "Case of the Ex (Whatcha Gonna Do)". Did I have an ex in 2000 and did I have any idea what this song was about? Absolutely not, but this is the song that made me buy Fear of Flying in the first place. So good.

And then a year later? She won a Grammy with Pink, Lil Kim and Christina Aguilera for "Lady Marmalade." Can we take a minute to remember how epic this performance was? That Grammy win was the most deserved one ever.

And let's not forget the lead single from her 2003 album Moodring, "My Love is Like...Wo" which is another classic:

And "Fallen" from that same album:

Mya's had a few singles since, but these above are the noteworthy ones, if you're asking me. She released an album, K.I.S.S in 2011, and confirmed that she's working on her seventh album as we speak and is starring in an action movie in the near future. So what an amazing 34 years it's been for Mya indeed.
