Last night’s Oscar In Memoriam was actually pretty talked-about—let’s not forget that Bette Midler sang “The Wind Beneath My Wings” right afterwards and it was everything—but the internet is not happy that one very important Hollywood actor was missing from the tribute—Cory Monteith.
Philip Seymour Hoffman, James Gandolfini and other late starts had prominence in the tribute video, but Cory, who’s most known as a TV actor but has also been in films such as Monte Carlo, was nowhere to be found. Cory had also wrapped filming on two more films, McCanick and All The Wrong Reasons, when he passed away, so there’s really no reason why he shouldn’t have been noticed by the Academy, you know? Watch the video here to refresh your memory:
The good news is that Cory did make the Oscars online gallery of actors who have passed away this year, but some Glee fans don’t think it was enough. He was snubbed and it was rude!
