“I’m having a hard time this year, because between his radio show and the time commitment for America’s Got Talent, I don’t have as much time as I used to with him,” the animal activist, 41, tells me during the North Shore Animal League adoption event at Renaissance Hotel’s R Lounge in NYC. “I get to go to a lot of the shows with him, but I’m ready to have him back, all for me.”
“I’m not eating any bread, and no sugar,” she says. “It changes your body. That’s what happened to me. If I exercise or I just don’t eat sugar, it does the same thing. I exercise and not eat sugar, and that’s how I’m trying to keep it together.”
So what do they eat?
“My husband has been snacking on raw carrot sticks, and I snack along with him.”
