You didn’t think the end of Teen Mom 3 meant the end of OKMagazine.com’s speciality @BabsEvansMTV episode recaps, did ya?! No way jose. We are bringing Babs back in a major way for Teen Mom 2 season 5 and will have her adding her two-cents into each and every episode recap from here on out, as we did with season 4 and Teen Mom 3‘s one and only first season. So let’s get right to it. Here’s what went down with the four ladies on tonight’s season premiere, and what Barbara would (probably) say about all of it:
While it’s pretty big news to fans that Chelsea never goes back to beauty school and enrolls in aesthetician school instead, the real bombshell in the house of Houska right now is that Adam Lind and his new girlfriend, Taylor Halbur, are expecting their own baby any day now. Chelsea talks to her dad about how upset this makes her and how she’s pretty pissed that their baby is going to technically be Aubree’s half-sibling. It’s really just a rough situation all around.
@BabsEvansMTV would say: “Ya don’t have control ova Taylor gettin’ knocked up, Chelsea. It’s not ya problem. Just take care a’ Aubree and IGNOAH Taylor and that LOOSAH Adam!”
The good news for Kailyn is that Javi is done with training for the most part. The bad news is that now she has to fight Jo for permission to move Isaac out of state so they can move to Delaware to be with Javi. And to add to the stress, Kail is also pregnant with her and Javi’s first baby and planning a wedding. But hey, at least her friends put on a nice baby shower in episode 1 to ease her stress for the time being…
@BabsEvansMTV would say: “Ya got a lot on ya plate right now, Kail. I’m sorry that ya gotta deal with all of that stuff on top of ya new baby! But ya lucky to have a good guy in ya life like Javi. He’s a lot better than KIEFFAH!”
Leah has clearly had a lot change since we left her off in season 4. She and Jeremy now have a daughter together, Corey is engaged to a nice girl named Miranda (they get hitched in episode 1), and Leah and Corey learn that Ali has a rare form of muscular dystrophy and might have to live the rest of her life in a wheelchair. Poor thing.
@BabsEvansMTV would say: “I’m so HAPPY to see ya and ya ex-husband happier bein’ with otha people. But my hawt is BREAKIN’ for ya dawta! I hope she gets better this YEAH!”
Jenelle has perhaps the most emotional first episode yet, as we see her find out she’s pregnant and decide that she’s going to get an abortion. This baby/abortion was Courtland’s, not Nathan’s, by the way. Anyway, in the episode Babs and Jenelle drive hours away to get the procedure done, after which Jenelle is reasonably cranky. But not even so much as a thank you for her mom for helping her through that? Not okay.
@BabsEvansMTV would say: “Are ya kiddin’ me, Jenelle? I took ya to the DOCTA to get ya pregnancy TUHMINATED and ya don’t even say thank you! I can’t DEAL with ya anymore!”
