Every live awards show is going to have its unplanned, slightly awkward moments. But last night’s Billboard Music Awards seemed especially cringe-worthy, didn’t they? There was flubbing of lines, weird speeches, and a performance from beyond the grave. Watch the worst moments here!

People will look for any reason to rag on the Kardashian family, and Kendall Jenner gave them plenty of fodder when she repeatedly messed up her lines. She never actually said the name of the band she was introducing, 5 Seconds to Summer.

A way to kill your parents: put the words Miley Cyrus and the Beatles in the same sentence. She sang “Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds” in a tribute to the band. Her voice did sound amazing, though.

Another performance that set teeth on edge? Michael Jackson! Yes, he’s been dead for nearly five years, but a sort of hologram-CGI version of the king of pop sang a brand-new single anyway, along with a million dancers. He even moonwalked! It felt sacrilegious, or at the very least, super uncomfortable.

A quick, awkward thank-you speech? Robin Thicke accepted an award for “Blurred Lines” and thanked his estranged wife Paula Patton for putting up with hm. Eep.

OK! News: Find out how Katie Holmes is loving life after her divorce from Tom Cruise.

Shakira maybe, possibly let a nip slip during her super sensual performance of “Empire.” Watch the video and judge for yourself!

One major theme of the performances? A camera angle from the POV of the crowd, meaning viewers at home were looking straight up the skirt of singers like Ariana Grande, Shakira, Miranda Lambert, and Carrie Underwood.
