American Idol alum, Adam Lambert, sits down with Ellen DeGeneres on her show today...what he says might surprise you! The singer has not watched the new season of Idol and doesn't plan to for a few more weeks.

According to JustJared, Adam admits on The Ellen DeGeneres Show that he hasn't tuned in just yet. "I usually tune in when they get to Top 12." He adds, "I heard that it's good. I'm going to miss you. I don't know how I feel about that."

As for the new judges, even though he hasn't watched them in action yet, overall he gives Jennifer Lopez the thumbs up. "She's been working in this industry forever. She really knows, I think."
