Amanda Bynes Reveals She's "Doing Amazing" and Plans a Fashion Line in NYC

After her recent bizarre behavior, Amanda Bynes is opening up.

She told People, "I am retired as an actor. I am moving to New York to launch my career. The former actress added, "I am going to do a fashion line. I am not talking about being arrested for DUI because I don't drink, and I don't drink and drive. It is all false."

Sounding polite and respectful on the phone, the former Nickelodeon star indicated she's "doing amazing," and insiders have spotted her living a normal life by working out and taking taxis to Starbucks.

And yesterday a judge ruled she's not a hazard to public safety. Her trial on misdemeanor DUI and hit-and-run charges is set for Oct. 29. That said, the 26 year-old must be on good behavior until then or it sounds like the judge will get very strict.

Yesterday he indicated, "Technically, Ms. Bynes is not in violation of order not to drive without a valid driver's license," so she will not have to pay the bail amount because her last hit-and-run charge took place on Aug. 4, when her license was still valid.
