Angelina Jolie made her first appearance since revealing she underwent a double mastectomy when she walked the red carpet at the London premiere of Brad Pitt's new movie World War Z on June 2.

“It really shows you that one person can make a difference," Brad old Extra at the event. "I was incredibly proud of her way before this, but it's a very brave decision.”

Brad also said the couple made sure their children knew exactly what was going on with mom. “We have a policy in our family, no secrets... I mean there's an age of understanding, so you've got to present it in a way that is age appropriate, but we know our children very well... we want everything to be on the table and any questions they have for them to ask.”

“We unleash certain things on them when it's out of the scary zone," continued Brad. "And we know where we're heading, it's been a lovely thing.”
