LeAnn Rimes had a tearful sit-down with Giuliana Rancic on E! on Sunday night where she said she wishes she had handled her affair with Eddie Cibrian "differently."

"All I wish is that everybody we hurt, that I hurt, can be happy," she sobbed about the relationship that broke up Eddie's marriage with Brandi and her union with Dean Sheremet.

But Brandi's sons Mason and Jake were featured in the show which the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star is not very happy about.

"My kids can be on a E News special apparently but not in the background of the show I am on?" Brandi tweeted. "Amazing!"

And when one of her followers accused Brandi at trying to get sympathy, the fiery bombshell was quick with her response.

"Wait I just turned it on and saw my kids!" she wrote. "I thought they weren't allowed on TV???"

Brandi had tried to get permission to have her sons on the hit Bravo show but was shot down by Eddie who said he didn't want them on TV.

Brandi added that she "didn't get asked to sign off 4 them being on this 'reality show.'"

Meanwhile, LeAnn has faced continued backlash for getting together with Eddie on the set of their movie Northern Lights in 2009.

"I wish I handled it differently because I wish I could have been better for me, for Brandi, for Dean, for Eddie, for everyone else," she insisted. "No one will ever understand how much thought and hurt were put into our decision."
