Carly Rae Jepsen Gets Support From Justin Bieber; He "Digs" Her New Album 'Kiss'

Sure, she had a huge summer hit in "Call Me Maybe," but Carly Rae Jepsen is already thinking about the upsoming release of her new album, Kiss.

And who better to endorse it than her mentor, Justin Bieber? He Tweeted, "@carlyraejepsen listened to your album today at rehearsal with @scooterbraun and the crew," Bieber tweeted. "GREAT JOB! #KISS"

Of course, let's not forget the Biebs has a vested interest in her tunes selling because he signed her to Schoolboy Records, but hey, it's all good. Carly told MTV News, "He digs it."

In fact, he called her to say how psyched he was about Kiss. She added, "I was stoked, him and Scooter Braun. Scooter called me ... and he's like 'It's fantastic, you should be pumped,' and it's not often that I say that I am, but I am pumped. I hope people like it, but it's fun to know that my friends and family and people around me are digging it, and hopefully everyone else likes it, too."

Considering she wrote almost every song, including lyric ideas she has been collecting since she was 17, she pointed out it's "really fun to get to see them put to life."
