Emma Stone Left School to Play a Senior in 'Superbad' & Has No Regrets

Instead of actually finishing her senior year of high school, Emma Stone decided to pretend to play a senior high school student in the movie Superbad. And she doesn't regret that decision one bit.

Emma has had a very good year and she knows her breakout role in Superbad deserves a lot of the credit.

In the new issue of Vanity Fair, Emma explains how she dropped out of high school to move to L.A. and pursue her dream of acting.

Emma enrolled in online classes and worked part-time at a dog bakery.

“I think three people called my specific cookies inedible to their dogs,” Emma said with a laugh. “I’m not a super-talented dog baker.”

But things turned around when she landed Superbad.

“I did Superbad in what would’ve been my senior year,” she says. “I was playing a senior, and had I graduated I would’ve missed that opportunity, and had I missed that opportunity I wouldn’t be here right now.”

And Emma also shouldn't regret the bikini cover for Vanity Fair, even though she was nervous about it!

“I usually wear a one-piece,” she jokes.
