Jennifer Aniston got uber-sentimental last night on Chelsea Lately when her good friend Chelsea Handler broached the topic of her engagement to Justin Theroux.

Sporting the impressive rock on her finger along with black skinny jeans and a snug black top, Jennifer welled up.

"I just got verklempt," she said.

Awww.

"He's the greatest guy ever," Chelsea said. "You guys make the greatest couple ever."

Justin proposed to Jennifer on his birthday this August when the duo were out to dinner in NYC. As legend goes, Jen got teary (again!) when he presented her the ring at Blue Hill in Greenwich Village.

"They have the same low-key attitude about life," said a member of their inner circle this summer. "They just click and complement each other."

"Everyone is really excited for them," the source continued. "It's amazing to see how happy Justin makes Jen, and everyone was always hoping that he would propose."

Jennifer was the first guest on the season premiere of Chelsea Lately, which received a swanky makeover this season being shot at Universal Studios, which is all part of the comedian's $25 million deal to keep the show churning until 2014.

Miley Cyrus, Christina Aguilera and Fergie are also set to swing by and chat with Chelsea this week.
