Kiefer Sutherland Makes Broadway Debut

Kiefer Sutherland has conquered movies, TV and now he can add Broadway to that illustrious list! Yesterday on the Great White Way in NYC, Kiefer made his debut in That Championship Season. He shared the stage with Chris Noth, Jason Patric, Brian Cox and Jim Gaffigan.

That Championship Season is actually a revival from a 1972 play written by Jason Miller about the reunion of four former high school basketball teammates at their coach's house after twenty years have elapsed. As they imbibe, they converse about relationships, jobs, frustrations and ways their lives were linked together as adults.

According to NPR, Kiefer's character is an unappreciated man who even has lost some teeth! He's a weak and frustrated character who proclaims, "I am a talented man being swallowed up by anonymity!"  The show is expected to run until May 29.
