Kyle Richards Opens Up About Adrienne Maloof's Divorce News: "I Was Actually Surprised"

Although last night's season premiere of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills didn't show trouble brewing in paradise at first between Adrienne Maloof and Paul Nassif, at the very end of the show during the season preview clips, everyone became privy to the sad news about their split.

Kyle Richards told Anderson Cooper she was in the dark just like fans!

"They are getting divorced, that is really sad. Paul (Nassif) and Adrienne are couple friends of Mauricio and mine, so it is very sad for us to see them split up like that."

Although the couple was known for their fair share of quarrels on the show, Kyle indicated she didn't take it seriously at first. "I think the arguing was a little too real. Clearly there was much more going on than we realized.

She added, "We thought their bickering was just part of their little banter and kind of funny but obviously there were bigger problems than that. I really felt like the audience felt, that it was just their thing and that was how they were. I was actually surprised."
