Lady Gaga is a single lady! The superstar has split from her long-time boyfriend Luc Carl, a celebrated drummer in the heavy metal world.

"No, I don't have a boyfriend and haven't been on any dates recently," Gaga, 25, revealed today on the U.K's Graham Norton Show, via PopEater.

The singer began dating the 30-year-old heavy-metal drummer in 2005 and reportedly ended their relationship when Gaga's career skyrocketed.

Then in 2010, the duo rekindled their romance, and Gaga told Grazia magazine they were in a "proper monogamous relationship," PopEater reports. She also revealed the mag that she "never actually enjoyed sex" until making love to Luc.

Luc is also an NYC bartender and the proprietor of a fitness-esque blog called DrunkDiet.com. His Twitter bio lists him as an “author, night club manager, long distance runner, promoter, musician, DJ, bartender, certified personal trainer, and semi-pro bowler in New York City.”

And it looks like Luc turned to his Twitter yesterday to send a special message to Gaga — which also seemed to confirm their break-up.

He Tweeted a link to the the Bob Seger song "Still the Same" along with the words "I miss you."

"You always said / The cards would never do you wrong / The trick you said / Was never play the game too long," are the lyrics of the Seger hit, which seemed to link Gaga to the role of dumper and Luc in the role of scorned dumpee.
