Nick and Vanessa Lachey Are Expecting Their First Baby!

Congratulations go out to Nick Lachey and his lovely wife, Vanessa Lachey (formerly Minnillo). The couple has announced that they're expecting baby number one in the early fall. 

Nick confirmed the news this moring on Live! with Kelly, which he co-hosted alongside Kelly Ripa

OK! NEWS: VANESSA MINNILLO OFFICIALLY CHANGES LAST NAME TO LACHEY! 

The pair discovered Vanessa was pregnant in January, after "she started to feel a little different, not herself," Nick explained, adding, "So she went to the store, got a pregnancy test, and it came back positive. So we are having a baby!"

Nick, 38, and Vanessa, 31, dated for five years before tying the knot last summer. They have both talked about their excitement to start a family, so this is wonderful news!

"I've had a chance to do a lot of great things in my career and my life but this is the one thing that, more than any other, I look forward to. The fact that it's actually here, it's overwhelming," Nick told Kelly about the pregnancy.

And although they don't know the sex of their baby-to-be, Nick says, hopefully, they'll find out soon. 

"We definitely want to know," he revealed. "I can't take the knowledge that someone out there knows, but I don't know. It's like watching a sports game on TiVo." Congrats again to the Lacheys!
