Paris Hilton and Boyfriend Attacked in L.A.

Paris Hilton and her boyfriend Cy Waits escaped an attack yesterday when they headed into court yesterday in Van Nuys, Calif. A man started to grab Cy in the back of his neck as the couple approached Superior Court! Luckily a nearby bodyguard instantly intervened and handed the perp over to the cops.

Based on reports from TMZ (via PopEater), it sounds like the suspect James Rainford has a thing or two for Paris since he was arrested last October after being caught trespassing on her property. He also get into an altercation with her security guards. Ironically in a weird twist of fate, Paris and Cy were headed into the courtroom in order to testify against another man who was caught trepassing on their property last year with a knife!

Paris Tweeted about the attack a few minutes after it happened: "That other psycho intruder just punched Cy in the back of the head as we were walking into the court house. So scary! :("

After his arrest last night, James dished to police that he's actually in love with Paris! He also mentioned her father gave him permission to marry the socialiate. According to RadarOnline, he said, "Ricky Hilton said I could marry Paris. He gave me his blessing. I love Paris."
