Prop 8 Ruled Unconstitutional: Celebrities Rejoice on Twitter

Proposition 8, which banned same-sex marriage in California, was overturned today, and celebrities are taking to their Twitter accounts to celebrate the news.

"Woohoo!! Die Prop 8 Die!!!!" Olivia Wilde Tweeted today. "9th Circuit just ruled you unconstitutional. Next step Supreme Court!"

Glee's Cory Monteith took the humor approach and wrote, "Prop 8 has been ruled unconstitutional! In other news, the Pacific Ocean was discovered to be wet."

Elizabeth Banks, who is starring as Effie Trinket in The Hunger Games, Tweeted, "#Prop8 overturned! Punching the air right now."

But it was Modern Family stars Eric Stonestreet and Jesse Tyler Ferguson who may have had the most to say...without saying anything at all. The two posted the picture below, referring to their Modern Family characters, on WhoSay in response to the Prop 8 ruling.
