Tom Cruise And Katie Holmes Officially Divorced

Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes' divorce case is officially closed nearly two months after she blindsided the actor with her filing to end the five-year marriage.
The former couple announced just two weeks later that they had agreed on a settlement that covered everything from custody to monetary arrangements.

And now the Associated Press reports that documents filed in a New York City court indicate that the case was closed on Monday.
The couple tied the knot in Italy in 2006 and have six-year-old daughter Suri who resides primarily with her mother in The Big Apple.

Katie moved her belongings out of her former marital home in Beverly Hills just last week and has been adjusting to life as a single mom with her girl and doing regular things like taking cabs and flying commercial.

Tom will continue to have meaningful contact with his youngest child. He is also parent to Conor, 17, and Bella, 19.
