Is it appropriate to discuss past plastic surgery or procedures with the media, painting it in a positive light?

If a celeb decides to share past plastic surgery or cosmetic procedures with the media, it’s their choice. I think that having a positive self-image is important and if it takes a nip or tuck, then why not? The only issue I have with celebs sharing their prior cosmetic procedures with the public is that women might think that without aesthetic intervention, they won’t look good. Some of the most beautiful women in the world have had nothing done to alter their appearance.

How do you deal with critics without coming off as overly defensive?

No one likes to be criticized but I realize that part of being a celebrity is dealing with unsupportive press or “fans” that feel the need to share their “advice” with me. My approach when dealing with critics is to stick to the facts and the truth. I’ve found that a bit of humility goes a long way towards getting naysayers back on my side.

Tip: Those who can -- do. Those who can't -- criticize.
