1. Dermot Mulroney

Dermot played Russell, one of Jess's first boyfriends ever on the show. He was the father of one of her students and had one heck of an ex wife, so, yeah, that relationship was pretty much doomed from the start.

2. Brenda Song

Brenda, who you may know from Disney Channel, played one of Winston's random-ish hookups for a few episodes on season 2. Winston and Daisy met at a bar and she pretended to be married, and then a healthy physical relationship blossomed (but then fizzled) from there.

3. Brooklyn Decker

Brooklyn starred in one very monumental episode, where Jess and Nick kiss as part of the game they played with Schmidt and his date, Holly. Little did she know she'd be so instrumental in their on-again-off-again courtship!

4. Carla Gugino

Carla is one of the luckiest guest stars ever because her character, Emma, got to hook up with Schmidt. She played his boss in season 1, which makes thing weirder, but they got to make out nonetheless.

MORE ON:
Josh Gad

The hot dude from 'Teen Wolf' serenaded Jess on the 'Virgins' episode, and also got to have pretend sex with her in a little girl's playhouse. Sounds like a great day on the job.

Jamie played one half of Jess' divorced parents, and Rob Reiner played the other. Joan and Bob only appeared in one episode together, which is probably for the best because OMG was that Thanksgiving dinner awkward.

7. Josh Gad

Josh's character, Bearclaw, ended up on a date with Jess by default (she was really supposed to be on a blind date with his co-worker). He's hilarious so we just wish he appeared in more than just the premiere episode of season 2.

8. Justin Long

Justin played Paul, another lucky guy who dated Jess for a few episodes in season 1. They were perfectly quirky together and it was great, and we will never forget the first time they had sex. Go Google that scene ASAP.

9. Lizzy Caplan

Seeing Janis Ian from 'Mean Girls' anywhere other than 'Mean Girls' is great, but seeing her as a lawyer on 'New Girl' who dated Nick for a hot minute is even better. We're happy they didn't last though because hello! Now he's shacking up with Jess!

10. Olivia Munn

Nick meets Olivia's character, Angie, at a bar, and they're way too different to make it work so their relationship only lasts for three episodes. It was fun while it lasted though.
