8 Times Sofia Vergara Has Been Proud of Her Hotness
Viewers of the Emmys were pissed last night when Sofia Vergara was literally treated as a hot statute—the show had her rotate silently on a platform while someone else gave a speech.
Sofia, however, was less concerned about the bit. She told Entertainment Weekly: "It means that somebody can be hot and also be funny and make fun of herself. I think it's ridiculous that somebody started this—I know who she was—who has no sense of humor and should lighten up a little bit."
Sofia didn't bring her new boyfriend Joe Manganiello to the Emmys, saying, "He's really hot, that's why I didn't bring him. He's too hot, he's too tall, he takes up a lot of space. He's too sexy!" Fair.
“To be a pretty girl, to be a voluptuous girl, has opened many doors for me,” she told Huffington Post Live. “I would be ungrateful to say it’s all because of my brains and my talent.”

"Latin women are very comfortable with their bodies and their sexuality," Sofia told Shape. "We aren’t afraid to show that off a little bit more."
She famously split her dress at the 2012 Emmys, and tweeted, "Jajajajja. I luv my life!!!!"
"Look, if you’re sexy, if you like dressing sexy, you’re not doing anything more than feeling beautiful," she told Esquire when she appeared on their very subtle cover. "A Latina just wants to walk into a place and feel great. Somebody is going to turn around and look. So a Latina better find a guy who understands that, even appreciates it, because it’s a compliment."
"I’ll tell you something. I’ve always been known for my boobs, but it pisses me off, because I do also have a great ass!" she joked to Women's Health.
For her 2013 Harper's Bazaar cover, she confessed the best part about being on Modern Family: making money for being hot. "I would be lying to you if I didn't say the success of it. For me, it has allowed me to do the things I always wanted—my endorsements."
