First things first, Amber got herself a new 'do for her new year of life. "Got bored and dyed my hair purple," she tweeted earlier this week. We like!
And contrary to reports that Amber and her future husband Matt are having some relationship issues, it seems from social media that they're very much together and doing a-okay.
"Happy birthday to the love of my life," Matt sweetly tweeted at his lady. The best thing about Amber turning one year older? Now she and Matt are only 18 years apart instead of 19!
But all jokes aside, the engaged couple seem to be doing well now. Since Matt made his debut earlier this season, fans formed and vocalized their very strong opinions about their relationship, and Amber has often come to his defense on Twitter. But what doesn't kill you makes you stronger, as they say.

However, perhaps reliving a fight Amber and Matt had a few months ago is putting a damper on her birthday. In the sneak peek clip from next week's episode of TMOG, the couple has their first real argument, in which Matt tells Amber that she acts differently when the cameras around. Amber says it's not the cameras but just her social anxiety that makes her act out, and she gets increasingly frustrated by Matt's comments.
But we know what will cheer her up—a cute new photo of Gary Shirley's new daughter! Though Amber's ex hasn't wished her a happy birthday on Twitter, he did take the time to show his fans how adorable little Emilee is. What a cutie!
