Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt tied the knot well over a year ago, but the surprises keep coming; The actress has changed her last name!
Angie confirmed that she has taken Brad’s last name but it wasn’t a formal announcement. A movie poster for their film By The Sea bills her as Angelina Jolie Pitt!
While it’s unclear exactly when Jolie changed her name legally or professional, this is the first time she’s gone by her new surname for a movie since their nuptials.
As part of their press tour, they’ve been giving little glimpses into their very private lives, sharing that their wedding was not very glamorous with The New York Times.
"The ceremony was in France, but we had to do things legally in California," she said. "One day Brad was doing something and an assistant said, 'You have to sign some papers.' Then the judge came in, this lovely guy, and at some point, Brad said, 'Shouldn't we be standing up?' The judge said, 'No.' Then suddenly we realized we were married, in the most unceremonial way possible."

However, the proud parents said their happiest moment in their union was officially sharing custody of their adopted children.
“The big moment was when we signed the joint adoption papers for Maddox and Zahara,” she said. “That was a decision to parent together, to commit to being a part of each other’s lives for the rest of my life. So marriage wasn’t close in comparison.”
