We've been talking about the best new music on a weekly basis all throughout 2013, but it's all come down to this. See what pop songs we've handpicked as the 16 best collaborations of the year. Most are from the biggest names in music that are so famous we can refer to them on a first-name basis—Jay-Z, Justin, Britney, Taylor and more.

Their "Legends of the Summer Tour" was beyond epic, but if we had to choose just one amazing song collab of 2013, it'd probably be Justin Timberlake and Jay-Z's "Holy Grail." Or "Suit & Tie." Both qualify.

We're clearly not the only ones who loved Pink and Nate Reuss' collaboration on "Just Give Me a Reason." The track got nominated for Song of the Year and Best Pop Song Duo/Group at the Grammy Awards!

Kesha and Pitbull, "Timber"

It's a shame "Timber" by Pitbull and Kesha came out in October, because this song has "summer anthem" written all over it. That didn't stop us from playing the track at every single party since then, though. And obviously it's on our New Year's Eve party playlist, too.

Robin Thicke ft. Pharrell and T.I, "Blurred Lines"

Honestly, 2013 wouldn't have been the same without Robin Thicke, Pharrell and T.I's sleeper hit, "Blurred Lines." This song is obviously going to win the Grammy for Record of the Year, yes?

Daft Punk ft. Pharrell, "Get Lucky"

And speaking of Pharrell, the music mogul clearly "got lucky" (sorry) twice this year when he had a second hit on his hands with Daft Punk, "Get Lucky." The lyrics to this one are just beyond addictive.

Ariana Grande ft. Mac Miller, "The Way"

When Ariana Grande hooked up (musically speaking) with Mac Miller on "The Way," the world was all like, "OMG, she can really sing!" This track paved the way for Ariana's insane rise to fame as a pop singer and her successful debut solo album, which came out in September.

will.i.am ft. Britney Spears, "Scream & Shout"

will.i.am and Britney, Bitch, definitely brought the action with "Scream & Shout." This song was a nice teaser to Britney's full length album, Britney Jean, which we didn't get to hear until its release in December.

Florida Georgia Line ft. Nelly, "Cruise"

We're still confused about how a southern country band and a rapper can make such an amazing, amazing musical baby.Florida Georgia Line and Nelly's "Cruise" was like, the anthem of 2013, and clearly transcended genres.

Taylor Swift ft. Ed Sheeran, "Everything Has Changed."

Even though we first heard "Everything Has Changed" on Taylor Swift's 2012 album, Red, the collaboration with Ed Sheeran really became a thing when they started performing it together live on stage on her "Red" tour. Here's proof of how magical it can be when you get two genius songwriters in a room together, people.

Rihanna ft. Mikky Ekko, "Stay"

Early in the year circa January 2013, Rihanna released "Stay," featuring vocals from Mikky Ekko, as her second single off Unapologetic. This song became Rihanna's twenty fourth top ten single so..yeah. Good for RiRi.

We're so happy that we get to end 2013 with the music video debut for "The Monster," the newest collab between Eminem and Rihanna. Could this song be the next "Love The Way You Lie?" Unanimously yes.

Zedd ft. Hayley Williams, "Stay The Night"

We're glad Hayley Williams took a mini break from her band, Paramore, this year to lend her vocals to Zedd's song, "Stay The Night." It may not be as well-known as her other hit, "Airplanes," but give it time, folks. It'll get there.

Miley Cyrus ft. Britney Spears, "SMS (Bangerz)"

Miley Cyrus has admitted that she only wanted one "bitch"(pardon our french) on her album, and said bitch was the one and only Britney Spears. "SMS (Bangerz)" is a new sound for both pop divas and all we have to say is that in 2014, it better be a single.

A Great Big World ft. Christina Aguilera, "Say Something."

A Great Big World, the small pop duo from NYU became mega-stars this year when Christina Aguilera wanted to add her vocals to their hit song, "Say Something." You cried when they performed it together on The Voice, didn't you? Don't lie.

Macklemore and Ryan Lewis ft. Ray Dalton

It was the year of the Macklemore, and so it was hard to choose just one of him and Ryan Lewis' collaborations to feature here. But alas, we settled on "Can't Hold Us," featuring Ray Dalton. Probably because it got a Grammy Nom for Best Music Video and was the most streamed song of the year. Sounds about right.

Beyonce ft. Jay Z, "Drunk in Love"

Beyonce jay z drunk in love

This song just made the cut-off after the release of Beyonce's surprise album on Friday, December 13. Even though "Drunk In Love" isn't a single (yet), we welcome any collab between B and her husband Jay-Z anyday, anytime, any place.
