It was a somber night as the news came out that Whitney Houston had died in the Beverly Hilton, just as Clive Davis' Pre-Grammy party was getting ready to begin there. But the show must go on and it became a tribute to Whitney.

With stars in attendance like Britney Spears, Kim Kardashian, Diana Ross, Brandy, and performances from talented singers like Alicia Keys and Miranda Lambert, the night became a tribute to Miss Houston.

Both Clive and Diddy spoke about the untimely passing and moved everyone in the room. Clive said, "Whitney was a beautiful person and a talent beyond compare. She graced this stage with her regal presence and gave so many memorable performances here over the years. Simply put, Whitney would have wanted the music to go on and her family asked that we carry on.”

And Diddy spoke about her "beautiful smile" and "grandma hugs that shook your whole body."

Whitney was definitely not forgotten and we are she would have wanted the music to continue to play.
