The happiest moment in Corey Simms’ life has turned stressful, as his newborn daughter Remington is still in the NICU weeks after her premature birth. Click through to find out how Corey and his wife Miranda are handling their daughter’s condition.
The Teen Mom 2 star revealed to RadarOnline that the couple is going through a “stressful time” in their lives, as he could likely be referring to his daughter’s condition.
But her premature birth isn’t the only drama Corey and Miranda are facing, as the father-of-three shut down rumors that he stole his daughter’s name from ex-girlfriend Amber Scaggs O’Brien. “The whole name ‘stealing’ bulls*** is pretty funny, if you ask me,” he told Radar after they published the original story. “I guess everyone with the name ‘Amy’ or ‘Nick’ was stolen, too.”
He added, “It’s sad that in such a stressful time of mine and Miranda’s life, we have to deal with such unnecessary drama.”

Luckily for the couple, their baby girl is going to be just fine, as Corey’s father Jeff revealed that she’s “doing great.”
