Derick Dillard is about to be a father for the first time in a few months but he’s already getting tons of practice! In a new clip for the new season of 19 Kids And Counting, Jill Duggar’s husband showed off his excellent parenting skills with his nieces!

The TLC reality show doesn’t premiere until February 17 at 9 p.m. but a new video shows how Jill and Derick will be as parents with a Duggar family sleepover!

In the clip, 25-year-old Derick dressed up in a funny top hat and beard for a fondue party with four of the little Duggar daughters.

Jill’s tiny baby bump is also on full display! The mom-to-be, 23, is expecting a baby boy in March.

"It was really yummy," Josie said. According to Jill, Josie “of course got the messiest.”

But after the fondue party is when the real action started: fingernail-painting!

“I didn’t know how many things were involved with painting little girls’ fingernails or how small their fingernails are,” Derick said, admitting he’s never done it before.

"It was a lot of fun," Derick said. "You did pretty good," an impressed Jill added.
