The best way to overcome drama is to avoid it! Giuliana Rancic dodged an awkward red carpet moment on Sunday at the AMAs with Zendaya!
Thankfully, Rancic, who was covering the pre-show for E! News after leaving the station, passed the interview with the singer onto her colleague, Terrence Jenkins.
Back in February, the 41-year-old host found herself in hot water after making racist comments towards Zendaya, 19.
During Fashion Police, Rancic said that she thought Zendaya looked like she “smelled of weed” because the singer had her hair in dreadlocks.
But at the AMAs, Zendaya seemed to have put the controversy in the past and was all smiles during her interview with Jenkins.
