Heidi Klum and Vito Schnabel have been on a romantic tour of Venice, rendezvoused in St. Tropez, sipped on wine on Mykonos island, stripped down in Costa Rica, and have traveled everywhere in between. But not even the most lavish of vacations could save their relationship!
The 44-year-old supermodel confirmed to People that she and the art curator are no more. “I believe that it is important to take time to pause and reflect.”
Heidi and Vito dated for three years, and were last photographed together last month at a VMA after-party, though Vito seemed to be more concerned about his phone call than his (former) leading lady.
One reason for the split is reportedly due to the fact that they live apart. Heidi also has four children to think about, in addition to her numerous projects. “Things have been difficult recently, they live on opposite coasts,” an insider previously said. “And it’s the start of a school year and Heidi has to concentrate on the kids.”
So what better way to deal with a breakup than heading to Las Vegas to hang out backstage with Jennifer Lopez?!
That’s exactly what Heidi did, with an insider adding, “she’s flying free” with close girlfriends.
