Hilary Duff may be a single lady, but don’t be confused. It is definitely by choice! As she has a new television show and just released her fifth studio album, the 27-year-old simply does not have the time for a new man!
During a radio interview with Z100’s Elvis Duran, Hilary explained, "I have a 3-year-old, I have a new album, I'm sure you know what it takes to put a record out and make it work, and build a tour and shoot a TV show, all this stuff!"
But she is not counting love out for good—it would just have to be the right timing. "If it came my way and it was easy, sure I’d be into it but it’s not something I'm stressed about," Hilary continued.
The actress and singer has been single since filing for divorce from hockey player Mike Comrie earlier this year.
They married in 2010 before separating in 2014. Fans thought they would rekindle their romance, however, since they remained quite close even after announcing their split.
While that does not seem to be happening, Hilary remains optimistic about finding her other half. "I'm not bitter about love or anything like that,” the former child star told Elvis. "I'm so busy right now — honestly I don’t have time to date and to be building some kind of a relationship."
