For one episode and one episode only Isaiah Washington will return to Grey's Anatomy this season, incidentally to help send departing series regular Sandra Oh off for her farewell episode. In case you forgot, Isaiah played Dr. Preston Burke, Seattle Grace's reknowned Chief of Cardiothoracic Surgery and ex-fiance of Sandra's character Cristina Yang. While fans loved the unlikely romance between Burke and Yang, the cast and crew didn't love Isaiah's attitude, so off he went (he'll soon be seen on The CW's The 100).
George O’Malley—Bring back George! But how you ask? He was killed after being hit by a bus for crying out loud. This is the perfect opportunity for ABC to promote their new drama Resurrection, in which seemingly dead folks return to their loved ones alive and well. We smell a crossover episode!
Izzie Stevens—Between losing Denny, then losing George, then battling cancer and then actress Katherine Heigl passive aggressively insulting the Grey’s writers, Izzie got the hell out of dodge. But we’d still love to see her come back, showing us that perhaps she got her happy ending after all.
Joe the Bartender—Whatever happened to Joe? The man could mix a mean cocktail (seriously, as interns the Seattle Grace staff was always drunk) and added a friendly familiar face outside of the hospital.
Rebecca Pope—Initially known only as Jane Doe after suffering major injuries during that horrendous ferry accident (you know, the one that had Meredith Grey questioning basically everything), Rebecca proved she had some serious emotional issues when she got into a relationship with Alex Karev. We want to know how things worked out for her after she left Seattle.
Addison Montgomery—Now that Private Practice is kaput, we want Addison back at Seattle Grace full time. C’mon, the pregnant women of Seattle need you.
