The comedy community paid homage to the entertainment industry's funny faces this weekend at the 2012 Comedy Awards at the Hammerstein Ballroom in NYC. Last summer's Bridesmaids was the runaway winner, taking home four of the big trophies of the evening.

Melissa McCarthy won Best Performance by an Actress, Kristen Wiig and Annie Mumolo won Best Comedy Screenplay, the movie's director, Paul Feig, won Best Director and the movie itself took home the award for Best Comedy.

So when are we going to see a Bridesmaids 2?

"Oh, we’re all on board for it if someone would write it," Wendi McLendon-Covey told OK!, "But no one has time to do that right now! But, I think it’s a bit soon. It just came out a year ago, but it doesn’t seem like a year."

Also in attendance: Maya Rudolph, Matthew Perry, Robin Williams, Amy Poehler, Jim CarreyWill Arnett and Elisha Cuthbert.
