Kanye West stirred up a little drama when he took the stage on Sunday night at the MTV VMAs 2016 to speak during a lengthy rant before premiering his new video for his song "Fade."

"I am Kanye West, and that feels really great to say, especially this year," he said as he opened the speech. He then warned, "I came here to present my new video. But before I do that, I'm going to talk."

"Now, later tonight, 'Famous' might lose to Beyoncé. But I can't be mad. I'm always wishing for Beyoncé to win," West joked.

He then went on to talk about his controversial "Famous" video, explaining that he had tried to avoid drama with Taylor Swift. And he even went on to shout out his ex Amber Rose, who was sitting in the audience!
