Kate Middleton is known for being a style maven while being thrifty enough to repeat outfits, but the Duchess of Cambridge’s wardrobe for her upcoming India trip will be carefully planned and with a hefty price tag!

Us Weekly reported that the 34-year-old secretary, Rebecca Deacon, went overboard planning her outfits for the 6-day tour, which will include 15 outfit changes.

Deacon even went so far as traveling to India alone in February to do some preliminary research of the locations of all Middleton’s obligations to make sure she looks her best before the April 10 tour.

“She took note of the colors of each local setting, lighting and sunset times,” a source told the magazine.

Middleton will bring along a “look book” with her with detailed reports of her outfits “for every minute of the visit,” the report added.

So what’s in the Duchess’ suitcases? The report said Kate will wear her favorite British designers like Temperley London and Alexander McQueen mixed in with Indian designers in “colorful flowy dresses, fitted jeans and trousers and a lot of casual fits.”
