All eyes were on Kate Middleton last night as she pulled up to Buckingham Palace for a State Banquet honoring the King and Queen of Spain. The Duchess of Cambridge wowed in a light pink Marchesa gown with a plunging neckline — it was possibly Kate’s most daring look to date! The deep v-cut allowed Kate to wear a stunning ruby and diamond necklace that once belonged to the Queen Mother. But the night’s ensemble wouldn’t have been complete without a stunning tiara! Kate chose the Lover’s Knot tiara to finish off her royal look. The tiara was a favorite of Princess Diana’s, as were the pearl Collingwood earrings Kate wore.
The low-cut look marks a departure from Kate’s State Banquet dresses in years past, like this one from 2015.
Two years ago, Kate wore this conservative short-sleeved gown when she met President Xi Jinping of China.
Perhaps Kate was trying to live up to Spanish Queen Letizia’s standards!
The Spanish beauty showed off quite a bit of skin herself in a stunning off-the-shoulder red gown.
