Khloe Kardashian is stripping down for her latest book cover, and she looks pretty hot (and strong!) But inside, she shows her emotional side, focusing not only on her weight loss, but also on the reason behind it—Lamar Odom.

Inside the memoir, entitled Strong Looks Better Naked, Khloe talks about Lamar, writing, “The thing is, you can’t control other people, and you can’t control the outcome of situations,” according to Page Six. “And if you think you can, you will soon discover that you are sadly mistaken.”

Their relationship ended in 2013, after months of allegations that Lamar cheated on Khloe and was engaged in ilicit drug use. Still, Khloe never stopped loving Lamar, and sources say that the book ends with Khloe thanking him for their relationship. "Before I met you I felt invisible, and after I felt seen."

That sentiment must be part of why Khloe withdrew her divorce papers, after she and Lamar both signed them back in July. She has also remained by his side as he remains hospitalized following a four-day binge last week at a Nevada brothel.

"Lamar is genuinely one of the best people I've ever met, and everyone says that when they meet him. I think Lamar's gonna always be that person for me but that's what made it so special. Even if I had it for five years or whatever, it was the best ever and I'm grateful I did. Some people don't get that ever and I had that magic for a long time," KoKo told Complex magazine over the summer.
