The Weinstein Company, along with The Cinema Society and Forevermark, hosted the event, which brought out celebrities like Ewan McGregor, Julia Stiles, Ivanka Trump, Carson Kressley and two of the film's stars, Andrea Riseborough and James D'Arcy

W.E. tells the story of the romance between American woman Walis Simpson and King Edward VIII, who abdicated the British throne to marry the two-time divorcée.
