Iggy Azalea may have moved to the United States from Australia to become a huge star, but is she willing to give all of that up for love? Apparently so!
The 25-year-old rapper recently canceled her Great Escape Tour, which was scheduled to take place in September. She said in her official statement that she needed a break, but insiders tell OKMagazine.com that her now fiancé Nick Young may have been behind her decision.
The NBA star “made it very clear that if he and Iggy were going to marry, he wanted her to scale back on work,” the source says. It seems to be no coincidence then that days after she cancelled her tour, Nick dropped down on one knee and proposed.
But in addition to appeasing Nick, friends also think Iggy may be pregnant, noting that she has been turning down alcoholic beverages lately.
Pregnant or not, it is obvious that Iggy does not want to lose Nick, but her love for him may jeopardize her career.
An insider says that since Nick wants a "traditional wife” Iggy “wasn’t willing to gamble” and go away on tour. “She’d take Nick over the tour any day,” the source says.
