Nicole Richie is trying to expand her family with Joel Madden, but her intentions behind welcoming baby No. 3 aren’t coming from the right place! The Candidly Nicole star is hoping a child could save their struggling marriage.
“Nicole is currently gaining weight because she is trying for another child with Joel,” a source told RadarOnline. “After going through a really rough patch she feels that having a baby will help repair everything that is wrong with them.”
The insider revealed that friends believe Nicole is trying to get pregnant so “she can pressure Joel into staying with her.”
“Her inner circle just hopes that she can figure this out before it’s too late,” the source said.
The parents of Harlow, 7, and Sparrow, 6, have been on the brink of divorce for months now, as they have been spotted without their wedding rings on several occasions.
