One Direction: The TV Special. 8pm on NBC. Christmas came (slightly) early for Directioners, who in this one-hour special will get to see a mix of 1D performances and the guys’ hilarious shenanigans backstage.
Shrek the Halls. 8pm on ABC. Shrek tries really hard to get into the holiday spirit in this Christmas classic.
The Year: 2014. 9pm on ABC. Robin Roberts hosts as we look back at the year in both pop culture and actual news, from Isis to Ebola to, uh, the success of Meghan Trainor.
Girlfriends Guide To Divorce. 10pm on Bravo. Orange Is The New Black's Laverne Cox guest stars as an LGBTQ activitst who presents an award to Max and Ford.
Benched. 10pm and 10:30pm on USA. Tonight they’ll air two back-to-back new episodes, and in the latter of which Molly Shannon plays a judge who has a little crush on Carlos.
