Phaedra Parks exposed some new updates on the status of her divorce plans with her estranged husband, Apollo Nida, following her visit with their sons, Ayden and Dylan, to see him in prison during The Real Housewives of Atlanta’s March 6 episode!
While speaking with her mother, Regina Bell, after their time inside Fort Dix in New Jersey with Nida, Parks admitted that she is glad their relationship is now over.
“So what was your reaction when you saw him?” Bell questioned, to which Parks replied, “I’m glad I can say now it’s done.”
“That’s behind you now,” Parks mother reassured her. But the RHOA star went on to tell her mom that Nida did let her know that he wasn’t budding when it came to their divorce paperwork.

“Yeah. And of course, he did make a point to tell me he won’t sign that paperwork that I’ve tried to get him to sign. Anything to prolong it,” Parks said.
“I was very cognizant about bringing up the divorce because the children were present. But when I brought it up, he said that he did not want a divorce,” Parks said in her confessional. “But I’m ready to move on and close this chapter of my life. I see myself happy again. I see myself married again. And I see myself divorced.”
Parks first announced her plans to divorce Nida back in 2014 after he reported to prison to begin serving his lengthy fraud sentence. She has yet to file her paperwork to end their marriage, which left many of her fans questioning if the two were considering reconciling. But following her reveal on Sunday night that Nida is the one holding up the process, Parks’ fans are now encouraging her to stay strong as she attempts to finally pull the plug on their marriage!
