PHOTOSOK! Exclusive: Porsha Williams Says She ‘Encouraged’ Phaedra Parks And Kandi Burruss To End Their RHOA Feud
Though she has grown closer to Phaedra Parks over the past few seasons of The Real Housewives of Atlatna, Porsha Williams has revealed exclusively to OKMagazine.com that she is still rooting on the reconciliation of her bestie Parks and their RHOA castmate Kandi Burruss.
Parks, 44, and Burruss, 39, witnessed their relationship hit a snag during RHOA’s Season 7, with the two battling over several issues, including Parks' struggling marriage to Apollo Nida and Burruss’ family drama.
The duo feuded throughout the season and during the Season 7 reunion special as well. But through all of their problems, the Naked Hair and Naked Lingerie entrepreneur Williams, 34, said she continued to try to get the two back on the same page.
“I absolutely have always encouraged both of them to work it out — at least discuss it. It’s hard when you have a good good friend and he keeps moving under the rug, so I definitely put my two cents in there as far as trying to help them to get it together,” Williams said.
She added that she “ didn’t want to be too pushy” as they dealt with their issues during RHOA’s latest season “because I don’t want to seem like I was in the middle or leaning either way.”
Williams said she definitely cares for both of the ladies, and is hopeful things will get back to normal between them. “Throughout the season they definitely had to face the elephant in the room and deal with the friendship and try to make amends. I just feel for both of them. I know they love each other. At this point, it just a matter of time… time is going to be what will help get back to where they used to be,” she said.
She continued, “I just honestly deal in love. Just how you feel: who called who, who did what, who said what — none of that matters. It’s how you feel in your heart.
